Druid Characteristics

Druids have combat abilities derived from nature: they can heal their allies at critical moments and help release their latent powers. When the power he obtains from nature is too weak, he transforms himself and becomes nature. Nature isn't confined to the typical aspects of nature such as trees or the air. Ryan can transform into any living being that is part of nature and deliver attacks characteristic of that being.
Druid Skills
General

Can't Run, only can do a short, fast Dash.

Has no Air Dash.

Jump Attack is an Chop which can last forever in the air.

Can do a "Power Smash" attack similar to the Sword Master. The only difference is that Power Smash is in front, while Sword Master's below.
Regular

Magic Break

(Grade 1) Druid’s 1st grade level attack that enables the user to smack a target with his axe to launch the target into the air and then smash the falling target downward. This skill is favored by many Druids for its short activation time and 100% success rate of creating an opportunity for a follow-up attack. This is the only skill that Druids can use quickly since they usually suffer from long attack delays. Skill is also known as Twin Blade.

* Does a twin slash attack.
* First slash knocks them up and the second slash knocks them far away. It also has quite a decent amount of Invici Frames as well.
* For some odd reason, there is a possibility of the 2nd slash not hitting.

Shockwave

(Grade 2) Druid’s 2nd grade level attack that enables the user to jump high and deliver a downward blow to a target with an axe. The impact of the attack causes an earthquake that will inflict splashed damage to all other enemies standing on the ground. However, this skill can be easily dodged since it has a slow activation time. This skill is effective on enemies with low HP and in battle situations where enemies cannot evade the Shock wave. Skill is also known as Titan's Axe.

* Does multiple slashes where the last creates an high impact.
* Anyone nearby will be inflicted with heavy damage, and lifted up high, where they crash down onto the ground.
* The "Shockwave" effect is similar to a Jump Attack, though limited; Arme's Reverse Gravity has the same effect. Any physical contact with the Axe can cause pain as well.
* Glitch: Several months ago, Ryan's Voice & the Axe Chop Sounds were removed from this skill.

Ryan’s Heart

(Grade 3) Druid’s 3rd grade level attack that makes Ryan an essential member of a team: he can cast a magic spell that will resurrect allies for a 30-second duration. While Ryan’s Heart is in effect, defeated team members can resurrect with 20% of their HP restored without consuming their lives. This skill’s effect is canceled after one member is resurrected, but it’s very useful in Quest mode or any other team battle situations. Skill also known as Resurrection.

* Within 30 seconds, anyone fallen will immediately rise back again with 20% of his/her Max HP.
* Has an unlimited range.
* Does not affect the user itself.


Transformation

Transform (Wolf)
Druid's Transformation: Wolf

(Grade 2) This skill allows the Druid to transform into a wolf. Wolf Transformations must be purchased via Cash OR GP from the Shop.

* Attk Up, Def Down, Vit Down for 30 seconds.
o The item "Moonlight Ring", will increase the transformation time, making it last for 45 seconds. It is found under a Ring Accessory, for 1k Cash Points.
* Wolf has 3 different versions. One is GP, while other 2 are Cashed. The 2 colored are "Moonlight" (White) and "Shadow" (Black).
o Neither Wolf changes the stat/attack attribute, so there is no advantage to purchase them (unless you enjoy the colors).
* "Wolf Roar" buff increases attack power for all nearby members for 3 seconds. For the user itself, it will last until the transformation ends.
* In PvP, the Transformation reduces MP Gain Rate.
* Be warned that every time you transform into Wolf, your HP will be reduced, thanks to the Vitality Reduction.
o If the transformation happens when the hp is above 50%, the player shall regain a bit of hp but when the trasformation occurs when the hp is less than 50%, then the hp will be reduced as a penalty
* Wolf has many different sets of attacks. His jump attack gives off Invincible Frames.
* Wolf's dash causes him to blur, similar to Arme's teleport dash or Lass's Dark Assassin dash.


Sentinel

Sentinel Characteristics

The Sentinel is skilled in infiltration and staying concealed, using a sharp, closely held weapon called a Jade Hook, named for it's moon-like shape. Without being noticed, the sentinel moves on his prey and eliminates any threat to the forest. The sentinel is not an aggressor, but a guardian; a guardian of the forest.

Similar to his first job, as a Sentinel Ryan can take on an aspect of nature and transform into the Nephilim. When transformed into the Nephilim, Ryan's strength and speed is greatly improved and will make a deadly opponent for any who would dare harm the forest.

General

Can Run & Air Dash, unlike Druid

Has a 6 hit combo.

Has some special Jump Attacks.

Unlike other characters, when a Sentinel falls, he does not "slide" a foot but rather a small inch.
Regular

Back-Spin Slash

(Grade 1) Sentinel’s 1st grade attack is a Cross cut followed by a kick to the face. After the first strike the Sentinel's Jade Hook is brought down hard on his enemy.

* Deals a heavy impact slash onto the target.
* Decent Invincible Frames.

Soul Impact

(Grade 2) Sentinel's 2nd grade attack sends out a massive shock wave that radiates out from the Sentinel. Also known as "Soul Impact".

* Soul Impact is a large shield force. It can be used to protect allies.
* Other people use it to push away nearby targets.
* Because of the fact that Soul Impact continues to deal damage on flying targets, it is useful on cornered targets, ones with Super Armor, or the immobile ones.

Spinning Phantom

(Grade 3) Sentinel's 3rd grade attack sends the sentinel into a furious spin, slashing at his enemies with reckless abandon.

* Spins at a heavy speed to the target.
* The Phantom has extremely wide range, so it cannot easily be avoided.
* Causes massive damage in its wake.


Transformation

Nephilim Mega Punch

(Grade 1) This is Nephilims only special attack. He attacks twice, the third knocking the enemy down.

* 3 hit powerful punch combo.
* A delaying skill.

Transform
Sentinel's Transformation: Nephilim

(Grade 2) This skill is used by pressing space while not in transform mode. Sentinel transforms into Nephilim, an Eagle-Like Humanoid that is the Wraith/King of Nature.

* Increases Vitality, Super Armor. Lengthly time of 45 seconds.
* "Nephilim's Armor" buff affects all party members, increasing their defense for 35 seconds.
* Nephilims have a lot of delay to it.
* When the power of Nephilim is released, it creates a shockwave, called "Nephilim's Shield". This shield causes opponents to bounce.
* Any other Nephilim will do a double Nephilim Armor effect on any other existing Nephilims. Anti-Nephis will just have their Nephilim Armor at a reset time.
* However, the Super Armor does not work the same way as a monster's super armor works.
o The Nephilim's Super Armor will not be knocked down by combo attacks, and cannot be grabbed.
+ Be warned when knocked in the air, the Nephilim will take damage as he lands. If the Nephilim continues to slide, he will take more damage and eventually put in a crisis state.
* The Height of the user will also increase, making him a much wider target.
o Recently discovered that the height actually prevents grabs, not the Super Armor itself.
* They have high attack power. They can hit over hundreds even at low levels.
* "Eats" alot of MP, but only has 1 skill.
* Apparently in PvP, the MP Gain Rate is reduced.
* Nephilim has an odd power to "phase" out of certain knockdown attacks, like a Nova Dash or a Shock wave.


Viken

What is a Viken?

Vikens are Druids who protect the forests searched for the source of their strength from nature and spent many years researching it.

Realizing that the Druids cannot stamp out the forces of Darkness with just their transformative powers alone, the chief of the Druids, Mo’ru Pi’su, entered into an alliance with Nature, whereby endowing the druids with its powers. However, many Druids failed in their training, and only a special group of Sentinels, who were strong in body and fiercely trained, were able to succeed. Mo’ru Pi’su bestowed upon these Sentinels the title of "Viken," those who bear the life force of Mother Nature upon their souls. Mo’ru Pi’su gave the Viken the scythe he used to return those whose lives had just ended back to the Earth as a way of swearing to the bond that exists between Nature and the Druids.
Viken Characteristics

With its large blade and long handle, the giant scythe's specialties are its long reach and slashing attacks. With his speed, the ability to fight in close quarters, and his long reaching scythe, Vikens can dole out fast chained attacks and call down Nature’s wrath. In addition, Viken can still transform into the Wolf and Nephilim forms.

Viken Skills
General

A Viken's attacks are arguably similar to those of a Spearman.

They can both run and air dash.

By pressing back during a combo, Vikens can pull their scythe back, launching the enemy upwards.

Vikens have three different Aerial attacks (An upward attack, aerial dash attack, and a normal aerial attack). Note that the Upward Slash is not included in the Tutorial List, and can be performed by pressing up and z at the same time.

Nature Tamer throws a seed which quickly sprouts into a plant. The plant will occasionally sprout a flower. It is activated similarly to Spell Knight's "Ragnabolt". The seed will not cause damage, however the plant will.
Regular

Nature Frenzy

(Grade 1) Viken’s 1st grade magic attack that summons three roots with sharp thorns from the earth to attack enemies in front of the user.

* The sharp thorns will launch the target upwards, allowing it to be followed by another use of the skill.
* Has a short delay that does not allow Ryan to move, making it useless for escaping from certain skills.

Wild Justice

(Grade 2) Viken’s 2nd grade attack that summons the strength of a powerful beast which charges the enemy once from the front and again from behind.

* Attacks from the front, and then attacks from the back, similar to Dark Assassin's Unlimited Blade.
* Delays twice, once before each slash.
* Unless the user is falling from a platform, the skill will return them to their original position after the slashes, making it unadvisable for avoiding certain skills.

Crow Wing

(Grade 3) Viken’s 3rd grade attack that summons the spirit of an ancient crow which flies into the air to deliver a punishing blow with his scythe. The scythe will repeatedly hit enemies in a small area in front of the user.

* Takes a long time to activate, making escape often easy.
* Can often be followed by a grab.

Transformation

Wolf/Nephilim

(Grade 2) Viken has an option of transforming into a Wolf or a Nephilim.

* Both are grade 2, and must be manually set in place.
* They will have the same abilities as in previous jobs.


Xenocider
Weapon: Storm Blades

What is a Vanquisher?

A long, long time ago, there was a Druid hero named "Dan" whose destructive magic and sword skills were unmatched in all the land. Though he protected the peaceful Druids from evil he sensed that the Druids' downfall was rapidly approaching and sought to find a warrior to whom he could pass on his knowledge and wisdom.

Many strong Sentinels and Vikens accepted his test in order to receive his legacy, but those who survived and returned were few in number, and those who did manage to survive were too weak in mind and body to receive Druid Master Dan's teachings. Druid Master Dan declared Ryan, who helped rescue the Bermesiah Continent during its time of crisis, his successor, and bestowed upon him the Storm Blades and the ability to transform himself at will.

Sybil, the Druids' prophetess, declared Ryan the "Vanquisher," "The one who eradicated evil from the continent" and "Dan’s successor" (Or "Vanquisher of Evil" & "The Chosen One"); when Ryan transforms he becomes the “Magnus Dan.”
Vanquisher Characteristics

A Vanquisher wields the Storm Blades, two small spears that can be brought together to form the larger Storm Pike. Depending on the fight, a Vanquisher can wield a blade in each hand and engage in rapid attacks or use the double-sided Storm Pike to increase his melee range. Whatever the situation the Vanquisher has the flexibility to adapt to any battle. Unlike Ryan's other jobs, there is no limitation placed on his transformation. He is able to freely transform back and forth between Vanquisher and Magnus Dan. If Ryan transforms into Magnus Dan, he has at his disposal a full range of attacks.


In the foreign severs, Vanquisher was known as "Xenocider". It was translated to Vanquisher upon release to the Northern American Server.
Vanquisher's Crest: "Nature's Guardian"

The "Nature's Guardian" Crest is an item to represent the user as a "Vanquisher". This item needs to be acquired by getting Vanquisher during the Vanquisher Event.

Vanquisher Skills
General

Vanquishers wield Storm Blades, which are a type of Pike.
It is possible to combine them together. The fusion is now known as Storm Pike.
Unlike Amy's Switching, Vanquishers can only switch during regular stance. It also takes longer to do so.
User can still use a skill during the switch, but will only use that skill prior to the one current to his form.
User is defenseless during the switch, withing exception of the skill usage. If he is attacked, then the switch will automatically cancel.

Storm Blades have 5 hit combos.
From the Crit/Double Combo, it is possible to Air Grab.

Storm Blades have several combos. They also have a 3 hit dash attack, similar to Dragon Knight's Dash.

Storm Blade Dash Attacks can be performed in two other different ways, which is similar to a Nova Kick.
The Uppercut Kick can also lead to an Air Grabs as well.

Storm Blade's Jump Attack mimics Thief/Mage's Jump Attack and Storm Pike's Jump Attack mimics Spear's Jump Attack.

Storm Pikes have a 4 hit combo. Their dash attack has a similar effect to the 1st hit on Dragon Knight's Dash.

Has a "Mach Blow", which is a wind wave effect similar to Nature Tamer. All forms can activate this.
Mach Blow does less damage than Nature Tamer. Mainly it is used for stunning or protection.
Mach Blow cannot reflect ranged attacks.

Vanquishers have 7 normal skills. 3 for Storm Blades, 3 for Storm Pike, and 1 for the transformation. Transformation skills vary, as Wolf has 2 skills, Nephilim has 1 skill, and Magnus Dan has 3 skills. It is therefore possible to have 10 skills equipped at once with Magnus Dan, 8 for Nephilim, or 9 for Wolf. A total of 15 Skills that is available to Vanquisher.
Vanquishers may not equip more than one transformation at a time (unless Nephilim is changed to a 3 bar, which is true as of now.) If no transformation is equipped, the transformation becomes Magnus Dan.
Magnus Dan transformations are unlimited and last until you wish to switch back to your natural state. This is unlike Wolf and Nephilim, which you much purchase for Cash or GP at the Shop.
Storm Blades

Gatling Spiral

(Grade 1) Vanquisher’s 1st grade attack delivers several quick jabs and then a final blow to finish off his opponent.

* The user will make several jabbing thrusts followed by one final blow.
* Quite similar to Abyss' Shadow Stinger.
* Unlike Shadow Stinger, the jab thrust has no delay. It can be chained into deadlier damage.

Flash Impact

(Grade 2) Vanquisher’s 2nd grade attack hits his enemies in the legs to cripple them before delivering a series of magical explosions.

* Vanquisher will "trip" his target and then rush through it, creating immense explosions.
* The attack is sometimes used to rush through the target, but mainly for grouping damage.

Power Strike

(Grade 3) Vanquisher’s 3rd grade attack is a series of powerful jabs followed up with an aerial magical strike that will burn anyone in the way.

* Vanquisher will do multiple jab strikes and then toss his blades onto the ground, leap up into the air, and slam down into a Power Strike.
* Power Strike has half damage range as most other explosion attacks, such as Amy Kick.
* Skill does not reach far, so suggestive use on close quarters.

Storm Pike

Fatal Drive

(Grade 1) Vanquisher’s 1st grade pike attack hits high, low and then delivers a fatal blow to the chest.

* Vanquisher will do several hits and then rush through the target.
* Quite similar to Flash Impact, but less dangerous.
* It is possible to perform a Crit/Double combo with Fatal Drive, to cause delay. It can be repeated infinitely until the target is dead or the user has no more MP.

Furious Boomerang

(Grade 2) Vanquisher’s 2nd grade pike attack has the Vanquisher throw his Storm Pike like a boomerang, viciously assaulting enemies as it comes forward, and back.

* Can pull targets to the user (assuming they do not die from the first wave), similar to Soul Wave.
o Because of this, its possible to conduct several combos as well.
* This skill is pretty useful on the PvP Map: Gorge of Oath. The Boomerang usually pulls them off the ledge in the process.


Xenocider Lance
Xenocider Lance

(Grade 3) Vanquisher’s 3rd grade pike attack throws three magical bolts before calling down a flaming pike imbued with Nature’s wrath to purify evil!

* Vanquisher will shoot 3 large bolts and a large flaming pike.
* More range than Power Strike
* Unlike Heaven's Guardian or Chaos Savior, the explosion beam can actually pass through the aerial ground set, whereas those two has a limited shot set.
o Due to this, it can be hard to control the Explosion Beam, because it sometimes shoots through the platform.


Transformation

Wolf/Nephilim

(Grade 3) User will transform into a Wolf or Nephilim boasting similar attacks.

* Because its a grade 2 skill along with Magnus Dan, equipping the Wolf transformation equips it over Magnus Dan, making the user unable to transform into Magnus Dan while the wolf form is equipped.
* In foreign servers, it was stated that the transformation for either forms were placed on 3 bars, rather than 2. This may have been done to nerf Vanquisher.

Vanquisher's Transformation: Magnus Dan

Magnus Dan

(Grade 2) User will transform into a Magnus Dan, a furious defender of nature. It takes a form of a humanoid creature with a Sword and with wings. Magnus Dan is darker and more serious than Nephilim or Wolf transformations.

* Magnus Dan is commonly referred as "Dan".
* Magnus Dan does not have a special effect. In PvP, he is immune to grabs, due to his height being the same as Nephilim, but he does not have the Super Armor effect.
* Has unlimited uses, and does not need to be bought from shops, unlike Nephilim or Wolf.
* It also lasts infinitely as well (including in Portals). To disable Dan, press X.
o User has to be in regular stance in order to revert to Vanquisher Form.
* When the power of Dan is released, it will create a small Shockwave, like Nephilim's Shield.
* Note that every time you transform into Magnus Dan, a large portion of HP will be restored, depending on your Vitality. Quite similar to every time you transform as Nephilim. People can use this advantage to replenish HP in PvP.
o Transformation to Magnus Dan doesn't heal Fatal status.
* In PvP, Magnus Dan's MP Gain Rate is reduced, like Nephilim.
* Has the longest taunt statement throughout all of Grand Chase. ("If you are a warrior, then we must fight 'till the last man!")
* Unlike Nephilim, it has weaker damage, but does not have Nephilim's weakness.
* All other transformational forms have more attacks than Dan himself.
* Magnus Dan has the Otto Ability, unlike Nephilim. He can juggle people as well. In addition, Magnus Dan has higher range than either transforms.
* Magnus Dan closely resembles Ashtaroth.

Transformation Attacks

Turning Breaker

(Grade 1) Magnus Dan’s 1st grade level attack is a quick 1-2 combo hitting low and then high, launching his enemy into the air.

* Using the sword, Dan will use a quick attack hitting high and low.
* It is possible to Air Grab with this.
* This is actually quite similar to Ashtaroth's Fall Recovery.

Blinding Cross

(Grade 2) Magnus Dan’s 2nd grade attack sends out a powerful shockwave of Nature’s wrath in a cross pattern.

* Dan shoots a large wave at the target, something similar to a Gaikoz's Sonic Wave.
* Like Knight's Sonic Wave, it penetrates targets, inflicting high damage.
* Skill has limited range.

Lord of Valhalla

(Grade 3) Magnus Dan’s 3rd grade attack summons a guardian of the Palace of the Gods to strike down your enemies.

* Does a few hits and summons a Dragon-like creature, crushing down the target.
* This Summoning is said to have a connection towards the Gods, which can also mean that Magnus Dan also has a possible connection to the Gods as well.
* Not as effective against Super Armor foes, because the move causes Dan to move up a bit, and so does the dragon.
